Join the Telford & East Shropshire group for a 8.0 mile moderate walk.

Outstanding views across Shropshire from the top of The Wrekin and The Ercall quarries with lots of interesting features along the way. Includes one steep part up and down. It is the duty of every Salopian to walk around the Wrekin and to the summit at least once, so if you have never been now's your chance to tick this one off and properly 'toast your friends'.

Keeping to the 'newly marked' route of the Shropshire Way with the last 1.5 miles dropping down to the Severn through Benthall Edge woods. 436 bus from Shrewsbury, return from Ironbridge on 96 bus at 13:57.

10 miles moderate walk from Much Wenlock. This is the Wenlock circuit, involving varied countryside, some steep hills, and good sights of The Wrekin, Brown Clee and the town of Much Wenlock. Parking at St Mary’s Lane, Much Wenlock at GR SO 624997, postcode TF13 6HD. Parking is free and there are toilets.
