GROUP WALKING ETIQUETTE/GOOD PRACTICE

Always ask permission to eat your own lunch at a pub/café. If using the facilities buy a drink.

For SAFETY when on a country lane walk in a single file or two abreast.

Paths blocked by crops may be followed in a single file along the line of the path. If obstructed an alternative route may be used.

If carrying poles do so with the points pointing forwards. Take care when crossing stiles.

Be AWARE of those following you especially at changes of direction and junctions.
